This kid has a memory like an elephant!

I haven't updated about Aaron in a while, because he hasn't been really doing too much new. But lately he has been using words and talking in more and more complete sentences.

Just tonight we were driving back from having a nice dinner at Mr. Beef and Pizza with Grandma when he asked me where is Culver's. I told him it is coming up. Then he asked again and I said do you see it? And he said, "Yes, I am pointing at it!"

Today when he was at Grandma's they were talking about frogs eyes and nose and ears. And Aaron said they don't have ears they have Typanums! Grandma asked who taught you that and Aaron told her Mama. Funny thing is we rented a frog fiction book a couple of weeks ago from the library and he just happened to remember me talking about that and remembered the word and the correct definition! Amazing! Kids are sponges I tell ya!

The other night I was reading him a book about animals and it asked which animals have stripes and which ones have spots? I didn't even explain to him what stripes and spots are.. He already knew and picked out all the correct animals.

A couple of weeks ago I started our countdown chain for Disney World and every day Aaron asks are we going to Disney World tomorrow? I say not tomorrow we have to wait until the whole chain is gone. And then Aaron goes awwwwww. He really is getting excited. The other weekend we went to Michigan and when I told him we were going to go to Michigan in a few days he started singing a little song, We're going to Michigan, We're going to Michigan, And he was dancing. It was super cute! I can't wait to take him on our first family vacation to WDW! 3 more weeks!

His tag line lately is Where are we going next? And if I say home...he goes oooooooooh :(

Aaron was sick earlier this week. He woke up at 3 in the moring with a fever of 104! Out of the blue he was sitting eating his saltines and drinking his water. He turned to me and tells me I like cats the best. It was really cute. I asked do you like dogs too? He said, "Nope, Just cats"

Aaron is really starting to get excited for Halloween. Today Aaron and grandma went to the craft store and picked out a pattern for Aaron's frog costume! He wants Halloween to hurry so he can get candy! He knows what it is all about already!

The whole reason why I wanted to update this blog was the other day we were driving in the car and he looked out the window by the Arlington Heights Park district building where they have the different things with the christmas lights on in winter. He looked over and said there is a park over there. I said yes Aaron and he said I remember the snow and running in the snow and mama! WOW! He remembers me taking him there once last winter after going to the library. We were running around, and he had sneakers on! I felt bad because snow was getting in his shoes. We were picking up and throwing the snow....now mind you this was one day...and this was at least 8-9 months ago and he remembered! We drive past this park nearly every day and he never mentioned it before.

Aaron is addicted to Toy Story 3 and Nana is feeding his addiciton. I have no idea how many times he has seen it in the theater. I already lost count. I know it is over 4, maybe more like 6! But it never fails he always gets scared of the monkey! And he loves it when Mr. Potato head has to use the tortilla he calls it the pancake!

At the Indy Dis Meet this year Aaron went with us and on one of the tables for the silent auction there was a pair of DVC binoculars. Aaron wanted them so bad that Nana was willing to spend $45 for them, but they went for more than that so later that night we ran out to Wal-mart. They had them locked on the hooks, but they didn't have guns locked. LOL! So Aaron finally got his pair of "Gobbles".

And finally when we went to Michigan two weeks ago we had a very relaxing time. It is amazing to see how much Aaron enjoys the outdoors much like his Dada and his Mama. At my aunts I got to show Aaron how to rake leaves, push a wheelbarrow and just enjoy the simple things in life! I can't wait to check out my dad's cabin!
